Meet Dr. Hal Stewart

Dr. Hal Stewart has a longstanding commitment to the highest standards of general, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.

A biologic and systems-focused dentist, he believes that the focus of treatment should be to achieve and maintain a healthy and functioning chewing system. He believes that a healthy dentition is only a part of a healthy body, and so he also gives emphasis to treating problems such as neck and shoulder pain, headaches, clenching and grinding, that are often caused by dental problems.

Dr. Stewart is one of fewer than 200 dentists worldwide to have completed the entire curriculum of the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry.

He also served on the teaching faculty at the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry Institute from 2006-2013. He has also studied extensively at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and completed the Advanced Esthetic and Master Esthetic courses at the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Stewart is co-founder and clinical instructor for the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies. He also lectures extensively, teaching dentists across the country and even around the world about advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Stewart has published numerous articles in professional journals and is a frequent lecturer on the topics of System Based and Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Practice Management, and Building Patient-Doctor Relationships.

He currently serves as a Mentor at the Schuster Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is also a past president and current board member of the Texas Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (TACD).

Dr. Stewart is also a member of the Orognathic Bioesthetics International, the Amercian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
